River Lamp was designed while thinking about the Irish folktale known as “The Salmon of Knowledge”. The form of the lamp is made to resemble wooden stilt houses found near river banks and bodies of water. Cut into the aluminum shade is the outline of the River Boyne where the folktale takes place.
